It's Senior Day Out at the Christian County YMCA, and Heartland CASA Volunteer Recruitment Manager Lori McDaniel and CASA Volunteer Advocate Marlo Jackson are having a great day meeting people, sharing the mission of CASA, and spreading the word about our upcoming Christian County volunteer training class, October 19–November 23!

HEARTLAND CASA IS ON THE MOVE — MAKING CONNECTIONS IN MOULTRIE COUNTY!
Our Heartland CASA crew has been having a great time getting to know Moultrie County, and now we’re taking the fun to Jet’s Diner in Sullivan for a special evening!
Jet’s is a Sullivan hometown favorite, and on Wednesday, October 21st, from 5:00–8:00 PM, they’re opening their doors after hours for a special evening with Heartland CASA and Moultrie County DOVE, Inc. If you haven’t experienced Jet’s yet, come give it a try!
Wherever you’re from, it’s just a short trip to Jet’s — come enjoy dinner, good food, fun and conversation, AND play some After Hours Trivia at your table for a chance to win fun prizes!
You’ll also get to meet and greet the Heartland CASA staff and some of our newest Moultrie County volunteers, including Becky Comstock, Moultrie County Domestic Violence Coordinator for Moultrie County DOVE, Inc. We are so excited about this evening and look forward to introducing more people to the work being done right here in Moultrie County to support children and families.
Heartland CASA serves children involved in the child welfare system in Macon, DeWitt, Christian and Moultrie Counties, providing trained volunteers who show up for children, listen to their voices and advocate for their best interests. As we continue growing our presence in Moultrie County, we’re getting ready for our next two CASA training classes. There are children in Moultrie County’s child welfare system who need someone willing to show up for them — someone who will listen, advocate and be a consistent person in their life.
Moultrie County CASA Training Classes:
🔴 Tuesday evenings: October 27–December 1 | 5p–8p
🔴 Wednesday daytime: October 28–December 2 | 11a–2p
🔴 Sullivan First United Methodist Church
